Corset tutorial

Let´s see how to do this vintage corset.

Save these  templates to your computer and print. Re-size as necessary.

First, you have to trace the corset shape on the back of the paper like shown in the picture.

Trace this shape twice in two different patterned papers.

Trace this other shape twice and cut it out from another two different patterned papers. 

Cut out one piece of cardboard to give your project firmness.Here you can see all that you need.

Now, let´s put everything together. First the outside like shown in the pictures. 

Then the inside part where you can put your journaling or whatever you want.

Cut a srip from another  patterned paper .

Spread a thin layer of gesso on the corset and glue the folded strip. 

Make holes to enable the ribbon to pass through  them.

Add laces on the corset sides and embellish as you like.
